How could she have forgotten her lifelong friend and love? Has he really been waiting and looking for her for the last four years?
There’s also the possibility that she did something awful. Maybe that’s why she’s afraid to remember her old life. Molly knows she wants Trent now, but the truth might destroy their love.

MORE THAN JUSTICE, Book 4 of the Ridge City Series
I’m thrilled to share the next installment, this time featuring Alicia Nor.
An old murder case. A curious mystery writer. And a killer who doesn’t want to be found.
Now that her brother Trent retired from the Ridge City Police, mystery author Alicia Nor thinks life will calm down. They’re all ready for some peace after her best friend (and sister-in-law) Molly was kidnapped… and then a reclusive cult leader went after Trent. Alicia is happy minding her own business and working on her mystery series co-written with her husband David.
But sometimes trouble comes looking for you–in the form of a stalker who seems a little too intense about his story suggestions. Is there more to it?
Alicia’s questions lead to a real-life case with the guilty party sitting in jail. But were they wrongly accused? Is it worth risking her family’s safety to find the truth?

“I was thinking…”
Here we go.
“So your plot is good, but what if the bad guy got caught because he kept a momento and then someone saw him wearing it. Wouldn’t that be the best twist ever?”
She raised her eyebrows, nodding. It was actually a bit cliche because every serial killer kept a momento. David and Alicia liked to focus their stories on detective work, so their protagonist would put together little clues to figure out the truth. Once in a while, they used a lucky break, but they got much better ideas from talking to Trent and Mark about police work.
Elliot went on, playing out his scenero and rewriting the ending of her book. Alicia just kept nodding, feigning interest, while hoping someone else would come buy the last copy.
“And then this little girl would see him wearing the necklace and yell for everyone to look–”
“Wait,” she stopped him, but then she didn’t know why. Something about the necklace detail felt odd, like she’d read something similar in a novel before. What if Elliot had read that twist and was hocking it to her as his own idea?
She was almost laughing inwardly until she looked back at his face. His eyes gleamed with something she didn’t like. Unable to stop herself, she took a step backwards.
